Hot Dip Galvanizing
Corrosion resistance of zinc is under most service conditions considerably better than iron and steel.

Hot dip galvanized steel has been effectively used for more than 150 years.

Hot dip galvanizing is a metallurgical process that is used to coat steel with zinc, by passing the steel through a molten bath of zinc at a temperature of app. 460 °C.  A hot dip galvanized coating, cathodically protects Steel.

Protection of steel through hot dip galvanizing process is preferred because of its low cost, the simple application, and the market demand.
